Come along for a fun afternoon of social bowling.
Social bowls are held twice a week, usually on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. If there is a clash with another event, bowling moves to Thursday or Sunday.
Weekend social bowls during the summer have a host. The scratch time is 1pm. If you arrive after that, you may not get to play as the teams will have been organised. If you are not able to play for the whole afternoon, please let the host know so they can try to pair you with someone similar. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate requests, it is at the host’s discretion.
We have a small trophy which is given to the winners of the weekend social bowl. It is theirs to keep for the week!
Weekday socials are informal and the people who turn up organise the order and type of play amongst themselves.
There is a nominal fee to play in a social, currently £1.
