The 2025 Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League Novice Cup was held at Burton & Puddington on Thursday 19 June 2025.
It was a very warm afternoon, in more ways than one. The weather was glorious (if a little hot out there on the green) and there was great support for the competitors, with laughs and much camaraderie.
10 players originally signed up to play but two were unable to make it on the day.
The draw was made by Annie Mead, Chair of the League.
The standard of bowling was high.
The winner was Angela Atkinson and the runner-up was Wendy Bragg.
